This form is for any Trainee who is registered for the ANZCA CICM Dual Training Recognition Process and would like to submit a Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) application.
All RPL applications will be reviewed and approved in accordance with the current REGULATIONS and in conjunction with the Dual Training Recognition Process Guidance Document.
Please note the following prior to completing this form:
1. Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) for training time in Anaesthesia, Elective, and Medicine should only be submitted once all required ANZCA Introductory Training (IT), Basic Training (BT), and Advanced Training (AT) time has been completed, and no further training in these disciplines will be undertaken.
2. Prospective training time should be recognised through the submission of an AVT at the commencement of the training term and the corresponding ITER(s) upon completion of the term.
3. RPL applications will not be approved unless all required supporting evidence, as outlined below, has been provided.
4. The Censor may request further information or supporting documentation before making a determination on an RPL application.
5. All training, including retrospectively accredited training terms, incurs fees. For RPL, fees will be charged based on the annual training fee for the year that the RPL assessment took place. The fee will be pro-rated based on the number of months that are retrospectively accredited.
